Passing Gas is like to biggest issue in my class. The kids like freak out about other people "letting one rip." They scream and laugh and basically embarrass the one who did it to the point where they don't want to at least say "Excuse me!" I may snicker a little myself but hey laughing is contagious and I got it from the kids. How do you handle it?

  1. Whenever my kids get the sillies like that I let them laugh for 5-10 seconds and get the silliness out. Then I let them know that it wasn't THAT funny and let's move on. Couple it with a stern look and that gets them back on track. Now mind you all bets are off if it STINKS like the back end of a dead goat or something!
